Looking forward to 2019!
Our dates for next year are confirmed

We are delighted to say that our dates for 2019 have been finalised and are now published on the website.  Our new tour next year will see us returning to Piedmont in June, to hike in the high mountains which lie against the border with France. This will be a Level 5 hike and more details will follow in the coming months. It will run just once and, in October, we will return to the region for our Jewels of Piedmont tour with its fabulous autumn food, wine and walking.

If you are still hoping to hike with us this year then all is not lost!  At the time of writing we have availability on the following tours, so do in get touch if you are interested:

Northern Tuscany and Ravenna 13 - 20 May
Wilds of Abruzzo 22 - 30 May
Jewels of Piedmont  22 - 29 June and 19 - 26 October
Southern Italy 22 - 30 June

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about this year, or the 2019 programme, and hope to be able to welcome you on a holiday soon!

Discovering the splendours of the South Tyrol
This northernmost territory of the Italian peninsula incorporates dramatic mountain landscapes with a fascinating blend of cultures.
In the latest of our Regional Guides we look at this stunning region, once part of the Austro-Hungarian empire, and discover how its Austrian and Italian heritage shaped the architecture, language and cuisine.
European Capitals of Culture: 2019 Matera
Next year sees the fascinating town of Matera, in the south of Italy, celebrate as one of Europe's Capitals of Culture.
An unforgettable city of caves, with a shameful history of poverty, Matera has been slowly regenerating to become a UNESCO World Heritage site and now a Capital of Culture. It is the town where we finish our Southern Italy tour and makes for a very memorable travel experience.
Perth welcomes historic Italian Art Exhibition
The Art Gallery of Western Australia is exhibiting the private Florence collection of the Corsini family from February 24 up until June.
The Corsini family rivalled the Medicis over the centuries in terms of wealth and political power. Their collection of Renaissance paintings, which survived the Nazi invasions of WWII, has left Italy for the very first time for exclusive showings in Auckland and Perth.
